	Accounts



	With smartware you have access to 26 financial accounts that are used to report any monies received by your organization. NEW FEATURE! Designate your General Ledger Account (either by name or number ) and generate reports based on your General Ledger Account. NEW FEATURE! The software now supports four different account types: Income, Current Liability, Cost of Goods Sold and Sales Tax Payable. Monies received for subscriptions or tickets that are assigned to a liability account will automatically flow to the appropriate income account once the liability has been removed. Additionally, sales tax received will be automatically posted to a Sales Tax Payable Account.

	Inventory
	NEW FEATURE! Full featured inventory functions are now available. smartware will manage any inventory you choose to sell through the system. Additionally, you can choose Last In/First Out (LIFO) OR First In/First Out (FIFO) for your inventory method.

	Gift Certificates
	NEW FEATURE! Now you can easily sell and manage Gift Certificates.The system will automatically assign unique certificate numbers and manage the balance of the certificate.

	Patron Account Status
	NEW FEATURE! A patron's Pledges Due, Account Balance (either amount due or credit) and Gift Certificate Dollars Available can be seen at a glance on each patron's Master Book record.

	Audit Services
	NEW FEATURE! Enhanced audit features allow both donations and sales to be edited.
